In this episode, we talk with Matt and Dominique Pastore about their rental properties in Colorado Springs. They have a very interesting story. In 2010, Matt purchased his first house (sight unseen from Fort Knox, Kentucky) to house hack with his Army friends. They added another rental property and then moved to New York. While living more than a 1,000 miles away they continued to successfully self-manage their properties, but even purchased more rentals! Fun fact: Matt has never stepped foot in any of the properties before purchasing them. How they did it and the resources used are discussed in the podcast interview.
Recently, they moved from New York to Denver. Matt and Dominique share their future investment plans which range from an international vacation property to a small apartment complex (9 – 15 units) in Colorado Springs.
